We are also the Only Fencing Club endorsed by Sport N.Ireland and Belfast City Council through the prestigious Clubmark Award. So you know we operate to the highest Sporting Club Standards. We also believe we are the friendliest club to train with. We constantly have beginners and new fencers joining us.

BFA Membership Benefits
Benefits: Personal accident (cover ceases at 75) & civil liability insurance cover; the Sword magazine; right to vote at general meetings and right to vote in ballots for election of officers; attend BFA courses and obtain BFA awards.
Competition: All relevant British and International events, including County & Region events, novices championships, Winton Cup and all Open events.

For Competitive Fencers
All fencers must have a valid BFA Licence in order to compete in any competitions. This is not required for training with us. To apply for a BFA Licence you can apply online via the British Fencing website or by calling them on 0208 742 3032 and having the following information ready:
- Your “fencing organisation” (Northern Ireland);
- Your “membership type” (select the type of membership you require);
- Your title, name and initials;
- Your postal address;
- Your gender, date of birth and ethnicity;
- At least one contact telephone number;
- Optionally, you may add your email address (for British Fencing to use for email correspondence);
- Select a payment method; and
- Select a fencing club ‘Grosvenor Fencing Club’.
Entry this way is immediate.
