Grosvenor Success At Irish Intermediate Fencing Competition

The Irish Intermediate Fencing Competition took place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th October, at University College Dublin. Congratulations go to Robbie Cockburn, who won the Men’s Foil, and also 3rd place Daniel Sigurdsson. There were also good results from Luke Wallace, who just missed the medals with a 5th place and Jonathan Connery who finished in 11th place. It’s a worthy cause so Grosvenor Fencing Club is happy to encourage any of our fencers & friends to sign up. Local celebs Miss Northern Ireland, Leanne McDowell, and BBC Northern Ireland personalities Lynette Fay and Barra Best are also getting behind the .  They’re calling for people to sign up to run, walk, swim or cycle themselves proud on Sunday 20 March.
